Tracii is not recognized by the software!
06-06-03 18:02

Tracii supports the bidirectional EPP mode whilst ECP is not supported. Please check the documentation of your computer or BIOS on instructions how to set your parallel port to EPP mode.

In case your PC does not feature EPP mode, we can offer a simple EPP interface card. Usually you will get such boards at your local computer store.

To make sure your PC can recognizes Tracii, you might consider using this test application. It has been developed to run under DOS in order to minimise problems with the different windows operating systems. Please run it off a DOS boot-disk. Do not run it from a DOS-prompt.

Compay Machines

Even if you set your parallel port into EPP mode, there can be problems. This happens frequently on some Compaq computers which for some reason do not handle the parallel port according to the specification. We therefore suggest that you use a secondary interface card with your Compaq machines.

This basically happens with machines sold before 2003.
