II. Software Updates
--------------------
The new version of Tracii Talk (V 3.03) with the following changes is now ready for download:
* The number of messages for the master mode is increased to 1000
* Fixes for the existing Tracii Commands
* The parameter of the "receive"-command is interpreted correctly
* The problem with 10-bit addresses for the "send"-command is fixed
* The repeated start conditions is supported (since version 3.0)

III. Tips & Tricks
------------------
1. Did you know that the Tracii software provides a log-file functions to evaluate the data with other applications?
* Tracii Talk:
Use the function "Save Log-File" in the "File" Menu to store all messages of the
Log-Window in an ASCII file.
Only the 100 latest messages will be displayed in the Log Window, but in the
log-file all send/receive messages are displayed completely.
* Tracii Spy:
To enable the log-file use the menu point "Log-File" in the "Settings" menu.
Be aware about the lower performance if this function was enabled.
You can configurate the data to be logged of the log-file with the check boxes
and even configure your log-file details manually by editing the format string.
Check "Log-File Format String" in the help systems for the string format.
2. Please note that you need administrator privileges to install the Tracii Software on a Windows NT platform.
If you don't have these privileges the software will not be able to find the Tracii-Board.
* Tracii Talk:
The installation program will inform you while the installation with an error message that the setup is
unable to update the registry.
* Tracii Spy:
The installation program will inform you while the installation with an error message that you need
an administrator account.
